Assessing the value of groundwater for the National Water Commission PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 19 April 2011

MJA is currently undertaking a major study for the National Water Commission on the value of groundwater.

While there has been a number of studies on the value of groundwater in the past there is no agreed methodology on a uniform approach.  MJA will select and develop a framework for the valuation of groundwater resources that will reflect the broad range of conditions and groundwater resources found across Australia. The project will involve substantial work with each of the state jurisdictions and is due to be completed in early 2012.
