Dr. Jeremy Cheesman will present insights on “how selling water to the environment has affected irrigation businesses” as part of the Water Market Workshop hosted by the Australian National University.

The one-day workshop will explore water markets with a special focus on rural water markets. It will examine climate change consequences, environmental water holder trade, irrigator adaptability and options for improving water markets. Informative speakers from a variety of academic, industry and government agencies will present their research and experience and its application to water market policy and practice.
