MJA undertaking economic analysis to inform the national plan for clean air (particles) PDF Print E-mail

PAE Holmes and MJA will be undertaking economic analysis to inform the National Plan for Clean Air (NPCA) for the National Environment Protection Council (NEPC). This analysis will assess the costs and benefits of meeting a range of potential new air quality standards, implementing air abatement actions and adopting an exposure reduction framework. This will primarily involve the identification and valuation of health benefits resulting from improved air quality. PAE Holmes is a specialist environmental group focusing on services in air quality, acoustics, applied meteorology and climate change management. In this engagement, PAE Holmes will be modelling the impact of the new measures on ambient concentrations of pollutant particles and health outcomes, while MJA will be assessing the economic impacts of the potential new measures.
