Marsden Jacob Associates has been engaged to assist the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) as it undertakes a limited review of pricing arrangements for Personal Care and Community Participation support services.

The NDIA sets price caps and benchmarks for a number of support services that are available under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The NDIA is committed to continuous development of pricing arrangements to ensure that participants in the Scheme are able to access support services that are valuable to them, and providers of support services are able to recover efficient costs. Further details on the scope of the price review can be found here.

Marsden Jacob is providing assistance in the form of research, analysis, stakeholder consultation and providing advice to the NDIA on the likely impacts of potential changes to current pricing arrangements.

This latest engagement follows from a number of NDIS related projects undertaken by Marsden Jacob over the past 8 months, and establishes Marsden Jacob as a leading provider of economic and financial advice to the social policy sector in Australia.

For further information on Marsden Jacob’s NDIS projects and experience please contact Dr Joel Byrnes in our Melbourne office (ph: 03 9882 1600 or email).
